What to wear on Engagement Day?

When it comes for the Engagement day, a tux is the first thing that comes to mind. If you are not in a mood to wear western, then indo western is the next big thing that gives a royal and ethnic look. A velvet blue tuxedo or wine colour tuxedo with a black lapel and black trouser makes the combination complete.

What to wear on Wedding Day?

On the main wedding day, sherwani is a perfect choice. Brocade silk sherwani with churidar or plain silk sherwani with bold digital print motifs is the latest trend in this season. All the designer bridal week collection had the similar trend. Even there is a great emphasis on the bandhgala. Jacquard print bandhgala with chain brooches are also a trend for men’s.

What to wear on Son/Daughter’s Wedding Day?

If both your father and the groom’s father dress the same way it avoids any feeling of discrimination and creates a sense of unity in the family photos. If you don’t want them to be identical you could alternate colours, for example having one in a cream waistcoat and burgundy tie and the other in a burgundy waistcoat and cream tie.
All eyes may be on the groom, but everyone in attendance will be appraising you. As the father of the bride or the groom, your attire should set a standard for the wedding’s formality.
If the ceremony is black tie, you’ll be expected to wear a tuxedo or formal dinner outfit. Black, charcoal and navy are generally considered appropriate colours for formal suits at evening and winter ceremonies. Brown, beige and navy dress are preferred for daytime and summer events; during the day, you can opt for a sports coat, tailored trousers and a necktie. Color options are much more varied at causal ceremonies, but just because you’re sporting a blazer doesn’t mean you can show up in something you’d wear to the office. This is your kid’s wedding day, after all!
